Jimmy L & Neuling: Do you mean how to polish? I use lacquer. Gloss clear : thinner (1:1.5) - dry - sanding the surface with 1500 grit sand paper - gloss clear : thinner (1:3) - dry - compounding...I think this sequence is very effective.

Thanks. Do your color coats and clear coats have little or no orange peel to begin with ?

Jimmy L : Frankly to say, all coats before sanding with 1500 grit sand paper have a little orange peel. I remove orange peel by sanding. But thin clear coats have no orange peel. So, I spare time to compound. Thanks.
