Tarn - WIP
I soldered the tights. Here you can barely see the difference. Left leg is unmodified and has those tabs still in place. I've soldered the right tight and removed the tabs.
I bought first too small hands. Shame, I really liked those pointy fingers. They would've fit Tarn perfectly.
The head was the most difficult part to get right. If I recall correctly the instructions for the head assembly had the only steps that I'd done differently now that I've assembled this once.
Putty on the seams on the left. Right side is still without here.
Looking at the assembled model, one thing I'd like to redo is to fill these empty shoulder paddings with tank sprockets and wheels. They probably wouldn't be much visible under tracks, but I like the idea.
Notice the seams on the chest handled with putty on the left and untouched on the right. The white putty needs paint next.
Fully assembled finally. Lot's of puttied seams to paint next. Wash, some shadows, dirt, let's see...
The Kotobukiya replacement hands fit perfectly and raises this model kit to the next level.
After long hiatus the work shall continue. Now I've got the last missing paint also.
