The canvas with the lozenge pattern looks amazing... right down to the stitching! Fabulous detailing! 👍

Thanks gentlemen. Last update can not be fully appreciated on this platform but I think it is rather cool (see the link below) current progress is on the wings as I am in a stall on the fuselage waiting for the resin pilot figure lagging in the postal services.

wow - what will come next - puffs of smoke and mini-loudspeakers?😉
The engine really is a piece of art, with the data-sheets and wear... hope it does not stay hidden behind the cowling permanently! 👍

Welcome Spanjaard Sebastian & Slavo 🙂 I much appreciate your comments.
About the engine, yes the side panel should not be glued, I still have to work out a solution for this part.
Point of no return has been reached with the scheme main decals dipped. Wish me luck.. Cheers

Mathieu,
Just looking over your build...really nice work. My thing is 1/32 scale WWI, so always looking for inspiration. One questions however...what is (what looks like) a switch and wiring on image #33 and #35? Thx...Cecil

Hi cecil, i have to say I have a growing interest for ww1 aviation, and more builds are to come from this era in the future.
To answer your question, the switch is routed to a Cr123 battery hidden in the fuel tank image #12 and is powering a new kind of mercedes engine seen in image #1.
The whole thing is visible in action a few comments above (youtube video linked)
@Antoine, thanks very much sir ! Very kind of you !

Very cool! Did you buy this as an add-on kit or just build it from scratch? Thx…Cecil

@Robin, @Bughunter : Thank you mates ! your kind words are very appreciated. More ww1 is a fact, there is a lot of wingnut food in the stash waiting their turn.
@cecil, I buy the element separately in chinese electronic sellers on ebay. It's way cheaper than one dedicated add on set you would buy in modeling shops (eg: 0.58€ for a dc motor). Downside is the long shipping delay.
Cheers
