Nice boxart, this attracted little man's attention.
I've prepared all the parts, took them out of the sprues and cleaned them up ready for use.
Finally putting on the turret - "wedding day!" 😉
He's very proud of his first assembled kit and so am I.
Of course he needed some help with a couple of small parts or tight fits but all the rest he did by himself.

I've applied Vallejo Primer to ensure a good adhesion of the paint.
He picked blue and white as the colors of choice, I figured he wanted a Police Tank.
Unfortunately Mr. Color's blue paint dissolved the primer so this didn't work.

I had a red Vallejo paint on stock and my son agreed to build a Firefighter Tank instead - see the world can be so simple... 🙂
He painted most of it by himself, I just did some small corrections and held some of the parts.
We did a little Revell Warrior before, I tought him how to hold and move the brush, it's fantastic to me to see that he remembered it.

Coming along nicely, I'd say it was a neat job done yet there's more to come, we need to do some detail painting & decaling.

My son Lian recently showed interest in scale models. So he got a kit for assembly, I chose a snap kit as I don't want him to sniff the fumes from glue. Took 45min to assemble it, I had the parts prepared in a small box ready for use. I think he did great considering he's just 3,5 yo and needed some help with small parts or tight fits. He's very proud of his work and so am I! I'll disassemble it tomorrow morning, glue some parts and primer it so that he can paint it.
