I bought this kit, slightly started, at the IPMS Netherlands show in 2013. Now I´ve built it. I added Royal Navy PE railings by Atlantic Models (the kit PE comes without railings), added some leftover PE helo netting from a WEM sheet for the Invincible Class carriers, plus a machined brass barrel for the 3 inch gun. I also tried the Atlantic Models PE railing stanchions, but found them too small for my optics and capabilities and only used them for the limited railings atop the wheelhouse.
As embarrassingly often the case with me, I goofed, and mounted the main radar array PE part the wrong way around. To fathom embarrassment´s lowest depths, I even mounted the replacement part I got from Maarten Schoenfeld the wrong way around upon my first attempt. Now it´s as right as I can get it.
I did enjoy building this kit. Parts did fit, nothing was overly fiddly or delicate, and the Atlantic Models PE railings complemented the model well.
