Hi Hekimpd - most of it is pigments with pigment binder, a tiny bit of enamel and a bit of oil. The thickness of the combination of materials determines the thickness of the dust. I am trying to improve upon this, and recently I found if a tiny bit of gloss binder is added, the whole pattern could be interesting, though I am still trying the get a good ratio...

Thanks for the response. I'm working on using oils as a start, based on Rinaldi's books and YT instructions. The step into adding pigments onto the upper hull is where I'm reluctant to try. heh, it's that leap to the unknown. 😉
