This is my first attempt at a resin body. Not a good choice for someone who is not an "advanced modeler" I've had trouble with warpage and fitment issues. I have a '72 Malibu donor kit for windshield, hood, and grill. I also picked up a '70 Impala "Heavy Chevy" to get a bench seat. I wanted a small block Chevy/350 turbo powertrain but stayed with the big block 4spd that came with the Malibu kit. I used OEM paint to get a match to the 1:1 El Camino I bought new in '72. I'm happy with the build, overall, but disappointed in my attempts to chrome all the trim. Lesson learned: Waterborne paints are a hassle. I'd rather shoot Testor's enamel, but can't always get the right color. I'm going to try MCW.
