Wings being aligned.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/5/7/3/1066573-15588-73-720.jpg)
First coat of Gunze H8 Silver , brush painted.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/7/8/6/1066786-15588-58-720.jpg)
Second coat of Gunze Silver. Fit of wings is not all that bad.
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/7/8/5/1066785-15588-37-720.jpg)
Second coat of Gunze Silver. Fit of wings on the undersides is not as good as on the upperisdes,,,but I can live with that.

Going on ! Last update from my holidays.
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/5/8/7/1080587-15588-62-720.jpg)
Decalling. Black Linx from Finland. I didn't fancy another Israeli aircraft. Decals came from a Masterkraft (KP moulds made in Poland) Mig-21 bis. A bit oversized ,,, but I can live with that.
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/5/8/8/1080588-15588-70-720.jpg)
Canopy has a very nasty tendency to crack ,,,,Also doesn’t likes very much being painted and looks foggy.
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/5/8/5/1080585-15588-48-720.jpg)
Almost done.
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/6/0/2/1081602-15588-40-720.jpg)
Weapons load glued in place.
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/6/0/3/1081603-15588-22-720.jpg)
A coat of good quality PVA glue diluted with a bit of water improved the sheen of the canopy.
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/5/9/7/1081597-15588-15-720.jpg)
Another bonus of the old kits is the stand.
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/6/0/5/1081605-15588-72-720.jpg)
Now yessss! Calling it done !!!
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/5/9/8/1081598-15588-91-720.jpg)
For a brushed metal look on the stand ,,first painted it in silver and while stil wet I brushed on Steel Metal.

Another retro-modelling project.Started when on holidays in the Pyrenees and weather forecast was not to be very good. So this was my back-up plan,,,Love those huge-out-of-scale rivets.

It's all about having fun…..I try to switch between comprehensive work on detailed projects and really straight oldies. I keeps my mojo up and running. Thanks Alex.

Another retro-modelling project. This time a true oldie from 1962 ... The moulds are younger than me for just one year !!!!. Love those huge rivet and embossed markings from those old kits. 😉
I'm on holidays in the Pyrenees , and weather forecast seems not to be very good. So this is my back-up plan. Most of the pictures have been taken with my cell phone. Hope you enjoy. Back at home I finished it in Finnish markings sic. To keep with the original mood ,,,, the remaining pictures were also taken with my cell phone. This has been a rather quick project , at least for me ... I'm a (very) slow builder.
