with a bit of styrene rod, sheet, and some wire, the panel looks much more like the real one...
The meager generic instrument panel provided in the kit...
The very bare cockpit provided by matchbox...
more creativity with styrene and some spare-parts-bin seats make something not perfect, but approximating the interior of the Heyford's forward fuselage.

The original kit decals were moisture damaged from sitting in the box for 42 years. Decals of several origins are being combined to portray Heyford IA Serial K4024 of "A" Flight No.10(B) Squadron as she appeared in 1933
Well, I've done about 13% of the rigging on this string-bag and I'm already cross-eyed...
