MiG-15bisSB, 3943, 30th Sbolp Hradec Králové, exercise Šumava 1968, reserve airfield Týn nad Vltavou, May 1968.
On the basis of the Allied exercise Vltava 1966, Soviet advisors recommended that MiG-15bisSB aircraft be fitted with camouflage. The 30th Sbolp technicians from Hradec Kralove were the first to undertake this task, and on the intervention of the unit's political officer, they had to do it properly. The colouring of the aircraft consisted of irregular areas of green, brown and sand. The lower surfaces were grey-blue. The markings were not restored when the camouflage was sprayed. The Czech emblems with a blue border and the four-digit fuselage number were placed in the usual places. At the 1968 Sumava exercise, MiG-15bisSBs had 30. Sbolp this camouflage scheme. The other 15s had a "makeshift" camouflage scheme.
