Revell 1:25 1955 Chevy Indy Pace Car
Blue engine instead of the instructed orange
Sprayed in Mr Hobby H3 instead of the instructed Revell red
Venting off....
Rushing gets you no where , forgot the rear end is supposed to be white , masked and primered
Removed the cling film that I thought would act as a good mask and I was left with this ? now I have to risk masking the white to rectify
Looks much better , I can progress hopefully....
Not to everyones taste but I opted to use the factory chrome parts rather than messing about stripping I think it'll work well and I'll be happy with it
Bit of an issue with the dashboard but I should be able to sort that later on

István SzücsGreat work, especially the "Chevrolet" writing on the valve covers. But the Chevy's engines were orange in that time....

Adrian ShinglerGood knowledge, i did point that out on the pic I posted 😊 I wasn't buying another paint just for that or going to the effort of mixing ,hence me using Mr Hobby for the body and Ammo for the seats instead of Revell colours
