justin HartThanks JV. I saw the 1/12 scale "street custom" at hobbytown a couple months ago and laughed when I saw the engine bay had the triple side draft webers, and an oil catch can, and looked a little bit like my 1/24th build. Not that my build had anything to do with it, of course, I just found it funny that I went in a similar direction on my custom without knowing anything about the 1/12 kit.

JvI got the 1/12 tamiya kit
I was a bit disappointed whed it after getting the 1/24 kit first
The 1/12 kit is an older mold and the 1/24 is a new tool kit
Whed many new ideas in the kit
I will still recommend the 1/12 kit
And would still buy another one

Tamiya's 1/24 240ZG. This was a buddy build with Shawn Wilkins from the scale model car guy channel on you tube. He built his box stock, I customized the heck out of mine.
Splash paints Orange Kandy over zero paints fine silver base.
Tons of modifications, I can't remember them all. My first build using parts from the 3D printer.
3D printed wheels and tires, triple weber carbs, distributor, Oil catch can
3d designed and printer Sun visors, fuel splitter box, oil cap (I lost the kit part), Fuel tank ( I melted the original kit part),
Scratch build fuel lines, plugs wires, throttle linkage,
