(P)itty Hawk MiG 25 PU

I decided on the MiG 25 PU because the type is rarely seen in a 48 scale, which can mean: it can't be built even by professionals, or it's not interesting enough because of the optics, the start has been made and you decide directly, resin for that Cockpit and landing gear or plastic, I go the way of mixing because typically Kitty Hawk everything is not always really well thought out or done well.....

nuuu something on the nose 😄

Everything still provisionally connected with tape because I expect some weight problems after the final assembly, currently 13 grams are stowed in the nose.
The tail stays loose until after painting, because even then it's a masking orgy, in a construction report for the PU/Ukraine the decals are described as "unusable", simply too big and therefore either for the collection, or at least as a rough template for the Tamiya tape.
If you want to create a Russian PU, it will be easier, only I have 3 MiG 25 and 2 MiG 31 in work for Siebenlehn on March 11th/12th, 2023, and only gray would be boring on the table 😄 😄 😄

Kitty Hawk remains Putty Hawk, the criticism will no longer hit anyone, even if the forms have long since found a new manufacturer (according to rumors, Heller is probably in business there??) In the rear area, the MiG 25 PD or PU needs real care if you want the angle the tail boom should be at least similar to the type ....

Even if the Kitty Hawk models require a little more effort when the end is in sight, there is joy again, perhaps even pride in having taken the shock out of such models

Thanks Arthur and Tommy, Kitty Hawk doesn't exist anymore, but you never know where the molds will end up, but they are not recommended for people without patience and a large supply of spatula

You don't get many accessories for it anymore, so I made a mix of what the instructions offer in resin and plastic, it's a pity that the metal reinforcement for the chassis (MiG 25 PD Kitty Hawk 0 in the PU set is missing, the resin chassis should you exchange for one of the Resi Kit 3 D for the MiG 25, you must have the Eduard Set for the air intakes, or you can use plastic and engrave everything yourself ......

Glossy paint is on it, decals will follow in the next steps and then it should be done, if the word if wasn't there, because paint accidents with the MRP colors are probably part of it...
The color is not sensitive to tape, but I haven't been able to find a miracle cure for scratches or light impact damage, maybe the Gunze GX gloss varnish puts an end to that
