Oh, I really liked your paint work, a nice subdued dark green, good vibe to it, plus it was Canadian armor! Eventually I'll get to doing a trio of 1st Armoured Brigade Shermans in Italy.
This is just going to be on a vignette, on a base fitting the other 2 FGH tanks I've recently done. While researching them and wanting to build a FGH Sherman, there were several I liked, so I decided to do 3 different ones. Sherman MK V, Vaucelles, France, August 2, 1944 | Album by DuckyShot (1:35)

Sounds good Rui, I had an interim project on the desk that I just completed tonight, so back onto the Firefly tomorrow.

I've never seen or heard of a horse hair camo netting before.
That's quite interesting!
Will follow your progress 👍

Yeah, I've only ever seen it on Fort Garry Horse tanks, spring of 1945. What little I could find on it says it was a specialty of theirs. I'll upload a couple more reference pictures

Very interesting build. Great depiction of this unusual horse hair camo. The detail, painting and weathering is lovely. Great work

Thanks James! I am contemplating doing a Stuart with horsehair now. I've found some really good pics of them, so we'll see.

Album info
Going to build a Firefly Ic with horsehair from the Liberation of Groningen. It will be a composite based off of several pictures. I'll be using Dragon's Firefly Ic welded hull kit, Didn't realize that Dragon added duckbills into this kit later into its life, so while I did have friul tracks for this build, I may not use it as the kit track looks fine. I'm going to attempt to portray the horsehair bales that FGH used extensively on their tanks with felt, hoping that it works.
