Super classic. Did you now, that the race cars for "Days of Thunder" were driven and given by Hendrick Motorsport? They were race legal - not only for the movie. In order for them to be used on the Daytona racetrack, they had to meet NASCAR requirements. I just can't remember, who has the cars today. I'm not sure. I think the #51 is still in Hendricks property.

I don't know how I trumbled over that but I was amazed at the effort that was put into it that movie the time. I didn't expect something like that. When you think back to the 90s, it feels like everything was easier than today.
