Fairey Rotodyne
Everything looks like it still here in one piece, the decals could be trouble. Hope the Microscale Liquid Decal Film works as advertised.
Put in a couple of cabin dividers but won't do any seats or other features like storage and toilets that come with the old Revell kit, which has a very detailed interior.
Interior with beige walls and blue carpets according to some of the other kit instructions.
Pilots are ready to go.
Next is the masking and painting of the blue band along the fuselage.
Masking up the blue band and not using the finishing decals. Used 1mm and 2mm for the fine white bands within the blue.
After applying the blue...
Not too much tape leakage, turned out fairly good, happy.
Using my mini magnets to help keep the rear cargo doors closed and minimize the gaps when closed.
Cargo doors glued on
Almost ready to put the fuselage halves together, cargo doors stay nice and closed with the magnets.
Paint scheme is more from the Revell instructions than Airfix. More masking for the Blue stipes since the decals are pretty much hopeless due to age. Am currently on Photoshop to replicate the lettering and logo decals before printing them myself. Did find the font that seems to replicate the lettering pretty easily (American typewriter Bold and Italic)
The Rotodyne is complete.
The new decals came out pretty well and layed down over the rivets and raised panel lines very easily.
The rear opening doors and storage area.

it is indeed a very old kit. Just one advice : make a scan of the decal sheet at 600 dpi, so that you can (get a) reprint to repair\replace the old decals.

Quite bold to paint the parts before assembly.
A tip with masking an a base color: you may consider spraying the base color AFTER masking along the edges. Any color seepage should hardly be noticeable. Next step then to spray the intended second color.

Nice color 👍
Why did you paint the model before joining the two halves of the fuselage?

@Cuajete, with all the windows, I find it easier to paint the sides and then mask over the windows/painted sides when finishing the top and bottom and rest of the plane. Masking individual windows is not for me.
