Hi Christian. A bit of an unrelated comment, but I really like the idea of using Scamelates for managing and organizing project ideas. Seems like you are doing this already. Can you expound on your approach: is an "idea" any different than a "project", and how do "collections" fit in? Sorry for the pesky questions, I am starting to use Scalemates more and more and am learning, albeit slowly. Btw, I really like your project "banners", very cool. Thanks much.

Hi Pardubak, welcome here on Scalemates and don't worry about your questions.
You can start a project using a kit in your stash. You can choos a different status for your project. You can start just as an idea or you can set it to work in progress when you have start it. Completed and cancelled are more levels to chose.
You can add projects you still have in progress or set a new one you already plan to do one day. Next to the kit you can add accessorie sets and aftermarket produts from your stash or wishlist to manage your modeling projects.
Collections will help you to manage the projects and relate them to a special topic. In my case ship models and planes in different scales, but you can choose whatever you want. When you add a new project you can relate the project to one of your collections.
Additional to my feedback you find much more helpful information on Scalemtes FAQ

Thank you for your kind comment about my project banners🙂
I'm looking forward to your first project here on Scalemates. Have fun and happy modeling.
Cheers, Christian

Thanks for your kind and detailed answer, Christian. Seems like using the different options under "status" is the key, and collections allow for grouping of projects. Very powerful tool! Cheers, Alec.
