Leaving LZ Vegas / 155 mm Howitzer M114A1

After summer break it's time start building something from polystyrene too. This project commemorates the 40th anniversary of end of Vietnam War.

I start with "6 ton Pig" as the crews called it. It's a venerable 155 mm howitzer and besides being my first Bronco kit, it's also my first foray into artillery kits so it's interesting to see how it turns out. My intention is to build diorama around it, depicting departure from fictional firebase Vegas, hence the project name.

First pics come as soon as my camera battery has been charged.

Right - this project is now complete even though with contradicting feelings. Gun itself I am happy with, base and figures leave a lot to improve.
