Thanks - its just RLM 02 light gray - thought I'd stick with Luftwaffe colors for these.

Nice Bf 109. But did you know that Georges Remi (Hergé) has drawn the Bf 109 based on different models? It is more a mix of an E and a C model. It has a C version radiator, but an E version engine intake and propeller. The stabilisator support bars were removed.

Thanks. Günther - you're probably right about the models, particularly the radiator, intakes and propeller. However the engine covers he draws look too curved for an early 109 - looks more like something from the F onwards. I'm no expert on 109s though so I went along with the Blue Rider decal sheet instructions and reference book, which claims its an F. Hergé certainly simplified his planes, especially in the earlier books, and its sometimes hard to pick a make, let alone a model!

Just realised that I said RLM 02 for the color on the Heinkel - that is the interior. The exterior is what I use for RLM 63 light gray (Tamiya XF-25 Light Sea Grey)
