Got this kit recently as well, still one of the most beautiful F1 cars in my opinion. Will you be sharing pictures of your build?

Absolutely. Just soaking it over night in the Tire Bleche. Hope to start building soon. Not too many parts, so hopefully the difficult part will be painting it. I will have dueling Williams' to build as I am also working on an S27 FW16 tranny thingy. Having to wait on that one as I cleverly hid my "curvy" masking tape from myself and am awaiting a new roll in the mail.

I've read on F1M (you know them 😉) there are perhaps some issues with the rear suspension and how it fits... You might want to check that.

Wouldn't be an S27 kit without some issue. I have a Lotus 101 tranny that is supposed to take Tamiya Lotus 102 front suspension parts......not even close. We shall see.

Yyyyyeeeeeah.....not sure what kit those wishbones were designed for but clearly, S27 tossed them in the box thinking, "close enough". It's the white metal floor that was completely unexpected. See what I can do....

Strange, my kit has a resin floor in it..?!

Wish mine did. Because of course it doesn't fit flush with the body. I read the post on F1M and the builder commented he had to do a lot of "bending" of the suspension parts. I'm wondering if he didn't mean to try and level all those white metal pieces off? Wonderful thing about white metal is how soft it is and every piece is anything but straight. Do you have the Monaco version or the 93 Champion version, which is what I have.

I've got the 93 championship version, like you. On the instructions it states 2006 and the decals are from Cartograph. Perhaps Mine is a later re-release?

Hmmm. Is yours in a blue box? I am at work and didn't bother to bring it with me😉 .

Now I have the correct box art to go with the project. Very important😉

I added the link to the kit here on Scalemates, it automatically shows the picture of the item then.

You have a different kit it seems, mine has number ST27-FK20190 (like in the picture).

Could you check if there is a year on the instructions? Mine has 2006 in the lower left corner on the front page.

I looked but it's all Japanese text. It does say Kit No. 46.
