Eugene - all you need to do is report them as doubles - to do that you press the + and then Actions - and then Doubles - its best to do this to both the items as it easier for the administrators to fix up if they can see both entries side by side. You can also go edit and change the numbers as well it will give you a waning but you can ignore and save.

Richmond, I do report them as double, but I learned (and got the advice from another member) that adding a comment about the what and why helps. Only reporting a double resulted in no action at all in the past, adding a comment resulted in the removal of (if I remember correctly) 9 doubles (!) a couple of weeks ago (and even adding a comment doesn't guarantee the removal of doubles, cause there are still a couple pending).
So thank you for the advice, I will report them both in the future, but I already knew all the other moves that you suggest, and didn't get the desired results when applied....

Eugene - I think the shear number of doubles are very difficult for the volunteer administrators to handle - I have recently been reviewing PONTOS and must have reported nearly 100 just on that company alone. I have requested, through feature requests, that when someone reports a double that the entry is highlighted this would prevent the same double being reported over and over again and it would also give some confidence to all Scalemates that the system was aware of the double and something is being done or will be done. By the way it takes time to keep loading there are so many - the list goes on for ever.
