Hallo Stefan, hab das selbe Modell im Regal. Bin gespannt wie deine wird, soweit schaut das richtig vielversprechend aus. Und ich bekomme bei deinen Bildern richtig Lust, den Bau der Messerschmitt ebenfalls zu starten!

@Christian Hallo Christian, bist jetzt sind mir bei dem Modell keinerlei Probleme aufgefallen, alles passt wunderbar zusammen , kann dir nur empfehlen das Modell zu bauen. Selbst wenn das Modell verglichen mit den neuen Tamiya oder Eduard Modellen weniger Details aufweist, macht es sehr viel Spaß diese Details selber hinzuzufügen und selbst wenn man die Details weglässt, ist das Modell sehr schnell gebaut und für den Preis meiner Meinung nach sehr zu empfehlen. Abgesehen davon sind die meisten neuen Bausätze der BF109 von der G Variante und nicht von der E Variante. Hoffentlich kann ich dich mit meinem Bau inspirieren, dein Modell auch anzufangen 🙂

Schaut sehr gut aus Stefan! Die Sache mit den Nieten für meine E hat der Vorbesitzer meines Kits mit einem kompletten Satz Nieten Decals von HGW gelöst. Für andere Projekte hab ich auch schon über ein solches riveting Tool nachgedacht?! Hab jetzt einmal geplant, das Modell über den Winter zu bauen. Allerdings will ich vorher noch meine UH-1B und die MH-60K zu Ende bringen, bzw. diese parallel dazu bauen. Bis Mitte November bin ich noch sehr mit unserem Hausprojekt und der Landwirtschaft eingeteilt. Auf alle Fälle bin ich auf das Resultat deiner Bemühungen gespannt!!!

@Christian Ein solches Nieten Set habe ich auch gesehen aber um ehrlich zu sein, ist es mir nicht wert, den Preis des gesamten Modells noch einmal für Nieten zu zahlen. Gut für dich, dass der Vorbesitzer sie schon gekauft hat, ich würde sie auf jeden Fall benutzen, bin schon gespannt wie deine Emil aussehen wird!

@Mark Lawrence since this is my first BF109, I'm no expert yet but I also like the Emil just simply due to the fact, that the Gustav variants seem to get build more often, which why I like seeing the Emil instead of yet another Gustav!

It makes me really happy that you found some useful tips even though this is just my second proper model and I am far from being a somehow experienced modeler. Take care and keep modeling 🙂

For the boundaries since it's straight edge you can just touch it up with a post it note pretty easily.

@Martin - I guess it depends on what your looking to build, I prefer the Revell "Special Edition" kits, AMT and MPC kits are shotty at best, especially the older kits. Moebius is supposed to be high quality and fit.

@ Tom - And that's just the tip of the iceberg the Revell's, the AMT/MPC's are put up. Stats say I have 488 different kits, but I have oodles of some of the same. (1969 Bullitt Mustang 14 of them/ 2008 Bullitt Mustang 15 of them and so on and so fourth, so if you see something you want PM me I probably have multi of it.

@ Thomas - I'm guessing that's BMW M5 ? All I do all day is pull over speeders so I'm guessing that it has some serious get up and go power !

Wow that really is a lot of kits. First off thank you for your service! Second I want to build a Shelby GT350, do you think the AMT or the Revell offerings are better?

@ Martin..... Doing nothing wrong if your getting better than 17 miles to the gallon, and I won't even ask about the Insurance,if I told you what it was a year, would make you cry. So that's why this stays stored and is 11 years old and has less than 4000 Miles on it. I do love that Blue, Mazda ? looks clean very nice.

@MM- Definitely go with the Revell if possible. better fit and detail

Not going to deny that ! It's the one thing most other cars can do,pass up more gas stations. Shes a pump sucker and can only use premium gas, but I've had her up over 180 MPH before,had the Electronic restricter removed and tuned.

it's slow down under, here we can only legally do 110klm per hour, and that's on an expressway. I think in the outback they still have some areas were the speed limit is unlimited.

The Vette can be built stock, so that was the saving grace and the GTO I didn't have one. The rest just couldn't pass up for the price.

To be fair the 71-72 Lemans weren't that bad, just n where near as beautiful as the 68-69 & 70 cars were. I had a 73 LeMans with a 400 from a69 Goat & a Turbo400, positrac etc was a proper hoot, I was 19.
The truck kits look awesome!

I scaled my weapons down, I gave the M4, 1911, the AK and the Draganov to oldest son. Still have the models,but looking to thin those out too.
