Andrew dyson@Ray I agree, this scheme is my favourite. I have just been gifted the decals for the orange version from the 2011 Macou GP so will be building that one too at some point.

Started riveting with the new tool I bought at EME in Lingen

AndreasKOk, riveting is time-consuming but also relaxing. I gave the wing a wash to check the result. Looking good so far. I just hope that it will be still visible after paint job

AndreasKFinished the E381. Just some light panel line wash, no chipping or fading, as this was more or less a one-time flyer...

AndreasKToday I began the painting process for the 234. Sprayed RLM66 on the canopy and also used this for preshading of the upperside. Preshading of the underside was done with Intermediate Blue. I tried these colours instead of the usual black to obtain less contrast to the base coats and make it blend better. Hopefully...
