The company data for Orion/Haron SCM Brand: Orion/Haron says it’s based in the Russian Federation, but the new release boxes say “Made in Ukraine” and their web site has a .ua TLD. Unfortunately that site doesn’t seem to have a snail-mail address for the company, so is it Russian or Ukrainian?

Redbox, the website linked is Ukrainian. Not sure about the Orion/Haron brand

Exactly, that's why I'm wondering what's going on there … Anybody know for sure?

I've spent a bit of time having a look into this and from what I found it looks like Haron is a Russian company and Orion Miniatures is Unkrainian (I can't find a postal address for either). On 'theminiaturespage.com' it says:
"Haron Miniatures provides web support for Orion Miniatures, and participated in the making of Orion's first set of figures. All sales are through Orion."
From the information about Orion Miniatures it says:
"Haron supports our web-site and also participated in making of our first set. Our next 2 sets were created in cooperation with Dark Dream Studio. We have no office, address or phone/fax, we are even located in different cities. We sell our product internationally, but only to the dealers at wholesale prices."
Personally I would conclude from that if Haron only supports Orion, the company nationality should be changed to Ukrainian. I also have a box of their figures which clearly state they are made in Ukraine.

You can add a new topic on your own, by adding a kit for it. Only empty topics are auto-deleted.

Sure, dear Frank, but I can't add a topic if there is NO kit available - but there are, instead, a number of interesting gallery articles for scratch-built models of said subject... like in this case:
scalemodels.ru/artic..ovskijj-bich-22.html

Then I would add a gallery article and edit it afterwards. There is also a topic field.

Unless I'm terribly mistaken (and apologies if I do), you can NOT add a NEW topic by using the topic field on the edit form of gallery articles... (as is the case with new kits). The same also used to apply for new entry books, again if I'm not mistaken...
See, for instance, always in the case above: scalemates.com/articles/article.php?id=437176&m=edit
The topic field in the "edit gallery article" form in fact only allows you to select from a pre-existing list of topics - if you simply write the name of the new topic, the topic still "doesn't exist" - unlike what happens when you enter a kit for a new topic...

I must admit that I have not tried this. Thanks for the explanation! May be the behavior of the topic fields should be identical.
Otherwise, if the topic is added and the article is not assigned "quickly" (within the timer) it would be auto-deleted too?

Edit: Yes. And also the reverse: It has already happened, for instance with this gallery, which had been added in the past: maquette72.free.fr/a.._db70/index_gm89.php
But since no "Dyle et Bacalan DB-70" topic was created soon enough... ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyle_et_Bacalan_DB-70 ) the added gallery simply vanished, after a certain time...
That's why when a gallery article. for such an esoteric topic with no kit available, is added, one has to ask for those mates with the power to add topics... to do so.
Or else (as I think I have asked Tim before), one should be able to add new topics when adding the relevant gallery articles and books...

It would be better to merge :
SCM Topic: Short S.23 into
SCM Topic: Short Empire as there was also a Short Empire S.30

Good catch! 👍 In this case both S.23 and S.30 should be merged into Short Empire, right? (wiki seems to agree...)

... agreed, this makes sense... so this should be a 3 to 1 merging... S.23 and S.30 to Empire...

Limited run kit took longer than expected - had problem with fit of the canopy and damaged it. Overall i enjoyed making it but shame SH didn't retool it like they have with the other P-40s.

Since Figure 6 shows a table for performance gains at different altitudes by injecting liquid oxygen into the compressor, I assume that this is the injection system.

Thank you everybody for your interest!
@Nicolas and Skyhiker : yes is a test apparatus for injecting liquid oxygen into the turbocharger of a conventional DB engine.
I will add more info when the model will be finished, thank you!
