I wanted the plane to look a little rusty, as though it had sat outside for a few months on a backlot at Henderson field or somewhere. I had no real idea how to do that, although the box art gave me an idea of what it should look like, so I tried a couple of different ideas using the unfolded wing sections that I wasn't going to use. The bottom one in this photo is what I ended up doing...
