The decal sheet by LF Models, however, was a bit trickier to manage, with black stripes to be applied piece-by-piece for the fin flash, and the Spanish roundels were a bit off with yellow colour "peeping through" on one edge. Anyway, the decals are stated to be designed for the old Huma kit, but of course, there was no problem with using it on the new one of Special Hobby. | View full picture")

CASA C-127 U.9-04 of the Spanish Air Force, intended to look as she looked in the late 2000s. Originally with the serial L.9-4, she entered service in 1960 and was retired sometime between 2010 and 2014, serving with the Spanish Air Force College at the end of her career. She has been stored in San Javier for about a decade now.
