Tomahawk IIb
First look on Legend Productions cockpit resin set for Academy Tomahawk IIb.
This will be my first time on trying out aftermarket parts, so bear with me if I did many grave mistakes with it.

Got rid some of the flashes.
I was confused as on how to apply the resin parts and which part should I cut, especially the cockpit rear part since the wall doesn't seem to fit all the way in
primed up parts, alongside with Hasegawa Spitfire Mk.Vb
Painting the interior with Mr.Color H351
Painting the interior alongside with the Spitfire.
The resin kit gave out fairly detailed P-40B/C interior.
Decided to use Mr.Color Silver for the seat.
a little bit of varnishing
I'm still learning on doing cockpit instrument panel bare hand.
test fit.
fitting up the wings. Academy's Tomahawk IIb wing is pretty tightly fit with the fuselage compared to Hasegawa's Spitfire Mk.Vb
The canopy is damaged from the box as it came off from the sprue. Thankfully it is the part where it will be painted of later.
putting in the wing and surface gizmos.
Primed up with Spitfire Mk.Vb.
Trying out chipping with Mr.Masking Sol Neo.
I had to redo again as the mask are too heavy and thick.
Pre-shading with flat black.
repainting with lighter chipping mask.
Trying on a little bit of streaking technique.
(I admit my fault on chipping the propeller blade in the wrong direction, but I'll just ignore this)
Streaking result.
Painting with Azure Blue on the underside.
Painting the surface with Middle Stone.
Masking for the camo pattern. 2nd attempt after Spitfire.
Preparation for setting up the decals.
Decals provided are simple crossdelta decals. In my taste, it's a bit glossy, bit thick, and bit oversized than what is referred in the instruction. I'd say 95% successful for setting it all up.
testfitting the landing gear and engine exhausts.
Giving Abteilung Industrial Earth wash.
Assembling the whole model completely (completing the wheel well).
Exhaust streaking with Abteilung Engine Grease. And then giving out TS-13 Clear coat.
Putting out the masking for the canopy.
Peek on the Cockpit.
The project is finally completed! Tomahawk IIb is now part of my collection.
