That is a lot of lighting, hope it does not get too hot in there! I am planning to make a 1/350 Titanic with fiber optic lighting inside for this kind of effect. Mahyar has got the idea 😉 Very nice assembly, but are you not going to paint it ?

No Problem Mahyar, as I said it is a very nice assembly and display as it is. Christian is also right, the 100th anniversary is approaching fast! The Titanic is a fascinating subject that I have been studying for years.

My champagne is standing cold since years for the anniversary! I´m a fan of this ship, long before Mr. Ballard found it. Christian, Aghis lets meet here on April the 14th and celebrate it together at 23:30? Dont need to say, its the moment when the ice started cracking the hull...

Sounds promising, Aghis! Would be nice to have a drink from one of those bottles, lying down in the deep! A wish that will unfortunately never happen...;)

Aghis Barberopoulos
Why ? Where is your imagination Holger ? 🙂
15 December 2011, 15:59

We 'll do it! The film certainly helped in visualising the ship and the conditions. I have watched the movie so many times, only to note the details of the ship - forget the rest...;) Aah, I think I just got an idea about this April 14th...

have you noticed the tv documentation on Discovery Channel, about some fellows who reworked special areas of the Titanic? I saw two documentations where they rebuild the bow section at Haraland & Wolff and the chimney, wooden inlays and a an arm chair of the first class smoke salon.

@Holger: Once I met a antique collector and Titanic enthusiast in London- he had watched the film 10 times in cinema just to watch the ship! I only watched it 5 times in cinema 🙂
