I completed the Tamiya 1/48 Lockheed P-38H Lightning. I can only reiterate what has been mentioned multiple times about this excellent kit. All the mistakes made on this kit was 100% my fault. It comes highly recommended and this is clearly the benchmark for 1/48 Lightnings, I know that because I've built several Hasegawa versions. Anyway, here are the details of my build:
Tamiya Acrylic Paints and Mr Hobby Lacquers used, mixed with Mr Leveling Thinner.
Master Barrels Set.
Eduard T-Face Canopy Masking Set.
Abteilung Oil Paints.
Star and Bars Masks were cut on my Cameo cutter.
