RS contents - Definitely shorter run tech, softer plastic and not as detailed as ARMA. Resin exhausts look great - lovely decals and "glass", looks promising
Academy - the base kit, looks pretty good at first glance, typical hard stiff Academy plastic, awful wheels - and all the other detractions from earlier reviews. Gonna need some work -
After removing the lump, I noticed the difference in the cooling vents - Academy way too short, and not angled up into the fuselage enough - more surgery -
3 P-39Qs of the 15th FG, 46th FS, while stationed on Canton (Kanton) Atoll from March to December 1943. Originally painted in OD over grey, the planes were quite obvious against the coral strip.
