👍 I have 2 or 3 1/48 R/C tanks by Aoshima and another company, I think, in the stash. On sale at the Yuzawaya, Yamato Japan department store that I would haunt. It was only maybe 30 from NAF Atsugi where I was stationed, right across from a train station! 😉

Lucky bugger !! 😄
I have to make do with these Academy ones .... at least they are reasonably rugged, they can take a few hits for the movie !😉 😄

I would be willing to bet a beer that they are copies of Japanese kits! :-D

abysmal photo for some reason, but it was the best of the bunch [frown]
anyhow some progress, after all the pre shading modulating la la some olive drab seeing as I had the airbrush out [smile]
looks better in real life, I'll get a photo of it in the sun as there is some nice subtle colour shifts and high lights etc.

Album info
Academy 1:48 tanks RC Conversion, these kits came with a remote controller and I am converting it to Radio Control so I don't have to have a wire hanging out the back of it 🙂
