Catastrophe struck when decal for 'white 58' disintegrated in water. It was noticeable that the decal sheet is old and sensitive, but I have checked it by using all the red stars, without much problems...
Luckily, this happened with the first number, so I have the other to use it to create painting mask...

Istead of making a mask, I draw a number in Corel and printed it on BareMetal white decal paper. It needed a little paint touch-up, but looks quite nice.
There's also a first round of winter white cammo, hand brushed using Humbrol 34.

Very nice P-40! I am not familiar with Corel, is there a similar font in Microsoft Word?

Thanks for opinion, Calvin 🙂
I don't really know if the font exists. I've imported profile into Corel and draw over it, constantly checking with photo of the original plane. If you need these numbers, I can send you pdf file...

I don't need them right now. I just thought it would be nice to know the font in case I did need some older letters & numbers. :-D
