Will the engine "get back" into the airplane or are you planning leaving it separate? That thing looks HUGE, makes you wonder how it would fit in there..

I glued the engine cowl with PVA glue so I can dissemble it after painting. The plan is to have part of the cowl open to display the engine. It's probably the perspective that makes it look huge. It is supposed to fit..😉 We'll see how it goes..

Razvan, I'm using Mr.Color Super Clear III mixed 50/50 with Mr.Color Leveling Thinner. I'm not an expert on clear finishes, but it has worked well for me on these small scale models.

I pretty much worked on this the whole day today to get it finished. I didn't glue the cowls so I can dissemble the front part of the plane if I want to take a closer look on the engine.

Thanks David! I haven't decided yet. I've got a Tamiya Shturmovik on the way in, but I'm also keen on the Revell Catalina. We'll see 🙂..

There is not much chance of the eye, when looking at your builds, of resting in one place for too long, as there is so much to see on all your builds.👍
For a 'newbie', you have a great ability. 🙂

Another stunner Bjorn!! What a great kit. Is that OOTB ? I have the Revell FW190 lined up on the bench and will be scrutinizing all your lovely details for inspiration.

Hello Björn, to build the old Eduard Fw 190 really needs patience and master craftsmanship, both you prove very well on the model 👍 👍 👍 only something falls to me in your models always, it lacks the antenna cable / the antenna wire, I use this EZ Line, which does not tolerate UV light, but the models are so little in direct sun, look at my Ju 88 or older models, the Bi Plan, almost all done with EZ Line.
In Sweden, unfortunately, I know no dealer, I buy it in Germany at MBK modellbau-koenig.de/..ne__i165_38064_0.htm,, other dealers have it on big Coils, looks like fishing line, but is marked as EZ Line.
For gluing the EZ Line I prefer the Tamiya super glue, others have tried ic, but as sure as with the Tamiya no other glue works

Thanks Mike and Jens! 🙂
@Mike, all the detailing is OOTB. The only modification I did was opening one of the engine cowls so you can see the engine.
@Jens, you hit the nail on the head!😉 I've left it out as I haven't found a nice material for it that is close to the scale that I want and I don't want to stretch sprue as it seems so brittle.
Thanks for the tip! 👍 I will certainly check out EZ-line. 🙂
