No, nothing wrong with Melchiors build, he just stated there what you just wrote - the rotor spin direction is wrong in the kit...and yeah, I am going to leave it this way now as well

Maybe French kit initially, generally French and Russian helos spin in the opposite direction to the rest of world so maybe assumed it was that direction if molded there, or maybe the had a photo that was reversed.
