Reworked trailing edges (1,3 mm thick in the kit, see upper wing for comparison.
Ailerons separated. 0,3 mm plastic added. Recesed panel lines as margin between black and red filled with CA.
Ailerons separated and finished to shape.
Attachment points for the wiring. Ailerons (covered with fabric) incl. structure & attachment points/hinges completed.
Streamlined wheels corrected in shape (too long in the kit). New struts from flattened 1mm brass tubing.
Elevators reworked, overdone fabric structure corrected.
Recessed panel lines as margin between red and black filled with Mrcolor 1500 Surfacer.
The quality of the engine is astonishing for a kit that is more than 50 years old!!
Only the outer wing sections have dihedral (4,5').
Corrected wing.
Sheet covers for the gaps between the wing sections. Cooler from half round rod.
Corrected (added) "fin” on the wing trailing edge.
Semigloss varnish in place.
Rigging minus spread bars on the lower side completed.
"Self designed" etched flat rigging in place.
Minor imperfections on the vacuum formed windshield fixed (with a fine brush).

Thank you Mates for your comments. It was worth to spent yesterday two hours for exactly masking. I used Tamiyas white tape and I'm very content with the results. The last task today was the applying of narrow black decal stripes and the kit decals (very good quality).

Thank you for the nice comments. It was an unusual modeling project based on a 55 years old kit. It's stunning that Hawk released an entire series of planes which were built only once or very few. Some of them I have built already, for example Supermarine S6B, Howard Ike and Laird Solution and I remember that I had a lot of fun.
