The Glamorous Glennis
Sorry, I didn't take the pics before closing the cockpit
Ready for priming
First coat. It turned out the acrylic Tamiya doesn't ever really dry...
... and everything flying around started sticking to the paint...
... so after washing and repainting it was time for decals.
And for a nasty surprise under the windscreen.
Hence I had to break into the cockpit again.

Very nice. I have the X-1 in my stash as well. Which colour did you use for the fuselage?

Welcome. Well, I took Tamiya's orange, but:
- it's typical acrylic paint, for me nothing worth of airbrushing, lacquer equivalent would've been way more friendly,
- according to instructions it should be mixed with another one, but I spotted it too late 🙂

Finished. Unfortunately I built a tailsitter and had to fake it using a transparent stand under the belly 🙁
