The tail pipe is just nasty, decided to try making my own from brass tube

plastic is very thick, it looks bad in the gun openings so, I carved them out a bit

Awesome job with the foil, Chris! That is something I have wanted to try. Did you rotate the foil panels to get different metallic tones? Or are you going to do something 'post-foiled'?

Hi Gordon. You are correct, the grain in many places is just rotated 90° to the one adjacent. There are 3 different shades of BMF on the model as well (5 sheets in all)

Interesting. I wonder, how do you sort out what panels are overlapping onto others? Presumably, you place the foil, over the adjacent foil to avoid gaps.

You are correct, I overlap panels of foil then trim along panel lines and discard the off-cut makes for much waste but better fit overall. Learned to trim before the burnish down because removing excess burnished down foil can lift or, tear the underlying foil panel as well.
