Great job Mike! I really like the mechs from Konflict 47, but are a bit pricey for me. I like how you went with a red paint scheme too, I've been wanting to paint and weather something red for awhile now. Very cool!

Thanks, JD. Bought the Grizzly kit a couple years ago, and don't remember what I paid, but thought it a bit pricey, too. It is a resin and white metal kit, but doesn't even include a decal sheet. The resin parts aren't bad, but also not the best, as it's clear that the master was 3D printed, but not cleaned up as well as other resin kits using 3D printed masters. Anyway, the build was good practice for my growing collection of Ma. K kits.

I'm totally to Ma.k! I have several kits including a rare one, waiting for my skills to improve before I even attempt them.

Thanks, Cheyne. I was trying to imagine a civilian use for walkers, and somethin like heavy construction equipment came to mind, hence the orange. I didn't think Caterpillar yellow would look as good, but I may try that on something in the future.
JD, I feel the same reluctance to dive into a Ma. K kit, but I'm planning on doing one of the 1/35 scale suits after I finish redoing my workroom, and get a little further along on the Industria Mechanika Sky Mark I've started on.

Damn man, you make me feel like a kid just getting started!😄
I'll practice on a few more Gundam kits, leading up to the Ma.K stuff eventually.. that's the plan anyway. 🙂

Looked at your stash-- you have a nice collection of Ma. K! 👍 I'm not into Gundam, but I've been wanting to try a Bandai kit-- they appear to be well-designed and nicely molded-- so I ordered a 1/12 scale SandTrooper kit. I can have the experience of building a Bandai kit, and learn to do desert weathering to glossy white armor.

I've never been much into Gundam at all until recently, just don't care for most of their designs, but there are a few cool armored suits I like, and Bandai kits are a such a pleasure to assemble, and without glue, it's almost like a puzzle rather than a model, and with the Gundam stuff, the figures are articulate and poseable which is cool.

My Sand Trooper arrived today! He is poseable and also has more detail options than I realized. And one of the sprues has black, white, and grey parts all molded on the same sprue-- never seen that before 😮

Nice selection, good choice! I'm sure you will have fun with that one. Bandai kits rock!
Looking forward to the painting and weathering, and dio too. 👍
