Album info
Tamiya Panzer Kampfwagen II Aus. F/G - 1/35 Scale.
Depicting a tank from the 18th Panzer Division in Operation Barbarossa.
Airbrushed with Alclad 2 Milspec enamels, weathering with Tamiya Acrylics, Oils and Vallejo Thick Russian Mud (Mudski!).
I probably went a bit overboard with the mud, but I did enjoy putting it on!
I was going to build the figures (hence the commander door is open), but they seemed to be moulded as Afrika Korps and I didn't think that the soldiers marching into Soviet Russia would be dressed in shorts!
I quite like building tanks as there are a lot less decals than with aircraft and I loathe putting decals on!
Anyway, I enjoyed building this one. A very nice kit from Tamiya.
