Quick build while I’m staying home and playing Mr Mom to a sick family (everyone has a runny nose and a fever but yours truly).
Started last night, finished today:
Grumman F4F-4 Bu.No. 5149 was Aircraft 10 of “Fighter Three” VF-3 on the USS Yorktown. Flown by Lt(jg) Art Brassfield during the Battle of midway, this aircraft downed four Japanese “Val” Dive Bombers. Built from one of the lovely new Airfix kits in 1/72 scale with decals from Starfighter Decals.
