1/72 Amodel Beechcraft 1900C - Dads Model
First I tested the fit of the fuselage.
I slotted the wings in for a test fit.
Another angle.
I found a set of pilot figures as my Dad likes to have them in all his models.
Here's a size comparison to the Heron and Twin Otter.
I'm pleased with the result so far.
And she's ready to prime!
Sand paint the internals obviously......

Cockpit interior and components aswell as the interior fuselage have all now been airbrushed.
I chose black to avoid anything being seen in the empty cargo bay.

The cockpit tob is what is "needed" but I decided to add more detail as you'll see in another photo.
Not a bad cockpit really considering its a short run kit.
I hate painting figures as I'm not very good at it bid I am pleased with these.
I tried to make checklists on the yokes out of masking tape, I like them!
I'd make alot of money if I was to charge for weight in this one!
Pilots look good on their forever home.
Engines are fixed in place!
Fuselage filled
Fuselage sanded
Wings filled and sanded and wings glued yo the main fuselage.
Glass is now in place ready try out some Mr Surfacer.
I had issues purchasing Filler so I took off the cockpit glass and adjusted accordingly and it fits nicely now!

When are you going to add the cabin windows? I remember building Amodel-kits (the PC-12 and the Learjet) where the clear parts didn´t sit flush with the fuselage, but could be sanded and then polished and finally looked good...

I'll be adding the cabin windows last, my plan is to fix them in place with Microscale Kristal Klear and in hheory that should sort the issue out.
