![Album image #1 Album image #1](/albums/img/4/0/4/1188404-33587-71-720.jpg)
Preliminary assembly is done. I left some parts off and/or removeable for painting.

The metal barrels are really nice
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/4/0/6/1188406-33587-19-720.jpg)
I had to do some work on the front of the hull, as a gap had to be filled
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/4/0/7/1188407-33587-10-720.jpg)
Onto priming it is!

Painted and treated with Abteilung 502 Oils

![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/4/8/4/1193484-33587-71-720.jpg)
A dark brown wash has been applied
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/8/2/7/1193827-33587-66-720.jpg)
The vehicle has been chipped using a mix of black brown and chocolate AK paints
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/8/2/8/1193828-33587-70-720.jpg)
While I often paint lighter chips first, I did not do this here, as they weren´t necessary as the basetone was quite light anyway
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/8/2/9/1193829-33587-57-720.jpg)
I am rather happy with the chipping result... As for the fuel cans on the front fenders, I decided to leave those provided by the kit off and instead put on some 3d-printed ones from 3D72nd
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/9/5/3/1193953-33587-47-720.jpg)
I added some rust tones to the vehicle and more of it on the sand-channels mounted at the rear.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/9/5/4/1193954-33587-85-720.jpg)
Rust is focussed around the thinner sheet-metal parts

Thank you for tagging along! Luckily, I came back from Euro Model Expo with a good bit of new mojo, so I might finish this one within the rest of the week 👍

And I got it done! I added some 3D printed fuel cans instead of the block of plastic the kit provides to recreate those...

Great work Tom!
The chipping fits really well and the new canisters complete the overall impression.
Thumb up for this 👍
Looking forward to your next project!

Album info
Building of Attack´s 1/72 Humber Mk.II with PE and resin parts included. This was supposed to be a quick build, but I ran into some fit issues and had to work those out before continuing to paint. Overall the kit has some nice details due to the included PE and resin.
I did a built-review of the kit here:
