Dewoitine D520
The kit is quite simple. In minutes main parts were joined. After all it is an Hasegawa mold.
One hour later ready for painting. Not even a drop of putty was needed.
Let´s have fun.....
Don`t need primer here. Just use white prior to the yellow and to paint the «reverse pre shading». This way I hope I can get tone variations even with the dark collors.
Going easy. I don`t like to mask everything in one time. so tomorow I`ll do the rudder and engine cowling.
Well. I started this kit today before lunch. I have spent about 3 hours with it . Some times I need to return to this basic models to relax and take a break from the so called big kits. I started in the hobby with these ones and still love them.

Can`t believe. Some how a new red stripe apear in the instuctions. There are three red ones and the model only have two. How did it happen? Nothing I can do now. I`m realy getting old. It will be finished likw it is. One more look like model. F.....ck
Finished. The tail red stripes are wrong but nothing can be done now. It`s better and easier to buy and build a new one.

Jorge FerreiraResuming. It´s a 20 years mould but it`s an hasegawa mould. The fit is excelent. No putty was needed. Details excelent. None interior but nothing can be seen anyway. wheels are acceptable but the landing struts can be improved. Instructions........the painting schemes .......don`t follow them. Make a good search on the net to paint it properly. Those red and yellow stripes are a joke.

Jorge FerreiraThe tail have three red stripes. The model have two. Also the stripes in the engine cowling are not correct. I was lead in error with the width of the stripes. I assumed they were all of the same width which they are not. Assuming that I did all the masking using the same measure and never looked back to the photos again until I was ading the decals. To late.
