There I'm curious, how you change the front fenders to the right one. And the bumpers.
I'd rather take the Tamiya 1966 Beetle as basic because that kit is the correct generation for a Herbie conversion. Just put the sliding roof in it, paint it, change the wheels as deserved by a set of the 356 Porsche (Also Tamiya) and you're done.

Better earlier than later 😉 It saves you a lot of time. Did you know, that Revell offered Herbie long time ago? They took the 1968 Beetle for it. As a Beetle fan, I had to buy it, even that I know, that it's totally wrong. But the box art is so cool. Herbie the Love Bug (Revell H-1263:200, 1:25)

Good process 🙂 I like the rag top. What did you take? The number decals looking huge somejow. Especially on the rear.

Hello, The hood is made of tamiya epoxy putty. There only two decals in the back.
