Zombie Apocalypse
Different approach to assembling here. Had trouble with the engine panels last time. This time i did them 1st. Smooth with no filler needed. 2nd i did exhaust piece. 3rd the boom. Intakes are fitted 4th. 5th and last will be bottom of fuselage.
Took another turn lol I just had to do this Marine build!
My Marine Viper build is 97% done. I misplaced the PE…knew i primed it but couldn’t locate it till just a few minutes ago when i was cleaning up. Will finish it next weekend for sure now!

My buddy suggested i try the new formula Vallejo metal colors. A good suggestion. So far they have held up to yellow tape….and i used their new black primer which i had previously thrown in the trash as it peeled off in sheets more times than i care to think about

Does the new black primer adhere better? The old stuff didn't stick to things that tamiya primer had no trouble with.

The primer worked great. No issues with paint pulling up under tape.

When I built my 1st Viper a few years back one of the pics that came up really stood out and i saved it for a future build. Well that time is now. Grubby Fingers Aircraft Illustrations drew up the ultimate zombie apocalypse combat weapon - a VicPol Viper! They’re Aussie if you didn’t guess lol so that illustration will be the basis for my build. All out of the box and then paint, that’s my motto these days 🙂
