Had some time today to start painting the model, I was really excited to start airbrushing again. Gladly, everything went as expected. I'm not striving for 100 % historical accuracy, I simply like building and painting something that looks pleasing to the eye.
Anyway, those are the first coats of paint.
1. Tamiya XF-1 + X20 Clear
2. Base coat: Tamiya 4 parts XF-62 Olive Drab + 1 part XF-57 Buff + 1 part X20 Clear
3. Highlights: Added more XF-57 Buff to the mixture
4. Lightest parts: Added XF-55 Deck Tan
I thinned the mixtures at least 50:50 with Mr. Hobby Leveling Thinner, great stuff!
