An interesting subject and a nice composition, I particularly admire the figures.
I'd like to suggest 2 things:
1 - the road looks very artificial and uniform , if I were in your place I would first paint the stones in different colours and then give the road a heavy dust wash, again using slightly different tones for different areas.
2 - the tracks of the tank look weightless, personally I would try to make them look heavy by forcing them down in the right places.

Hi Grappa_0_0_0 ... will have a go with the road. Unfortunately the tracks are not very good, they are almost solid and will not bend. It took nearly a pot of CA to get them to bend around from the rear wheels .. no way will they sag as they should do. Thanks for the ideas.
