Haven't had a ton of time lately. However, Got a start on this Testors boxing of the Fujimi Enthusiast 911 turbo. Purchased for cheap as an open box. It was in started except for a pretty horrendous paint job on the body. Which I've had soaking. Turns out it was horribly painted red over orange. It's been a long soaking process. Made a good start on the engine and got the wheels finished up. Not pictures is the chassis pan which is also painted. More soon

Engine basically complete now, other than the turbo. And some details on the top.

If they're cheap enough, I pick up Kits like this, and do exactly the same. Nice work on the engine, mate.

This one was in good shape apart from the body paint. All bags still sealed. And the front glass is cracked. Not worried about any of that

Simple clear plastic packaging, will solve the windscreen problem mate. I've used it in the past, myself.

Yes. I've used it as well. It's just a straight crack. Much like you might see in real life. I'm considering using it and building this as a WIP/project car. Something maybe not quite beautiful. Flat black paint with a primer door or something? I don't know. Lots of ideas run through my head.

And boys...
Football season, is coming?
JV, that means that Sunday, is for shouting at the TV 😉

Yeah. I just go to work and come home and if I'm don't have house projects or plans with the wife then maybe I can grab a little bench time. Sometimes more than others. Sometimes the mojo just isn't there. Just a time issue right now

Progress! I know, I'm just as shocked as you are. Engine complete. Interior complete in saddle brown leather. Chassis complete and got a start on weathering. That's the final color on the body as I'm doing a more rough version. Guy painted it himself in his garage type look. I also cut the front truck/boot/whatever it's called on a Porsche open. Fujimi provides many nice details to add into that compartment so I figured I'd show them off. The engine on this one, I believe I will display out of the car. At least for now.

Thanks Jv. Only changes to the kit so far are cutting open the trunk lid and just adding some wiring to the engine. I cut the trunk open using my handy scribing tool with many, many passes along the lines until it came free. Hopefully more updates this evening

Thank you both very much. Most of this is just highlighting the great detail that Fujimi molded into the kit. It's a little bit fiddly in spots because of this but overall a very nice experience so far.

I can't afford the full sized one either Daniel. And thank you and welcome to all. I have actually made quite a bit more progress on this but have neglected the photo taking. Just doing some final weathering (since I'm going with used and somewhat abused) and assembly. These enthusiast kits are always a good time.

And this one is all done! Weathered to look like it's been heavily used. Painted to resemble a garage paint job. It's someone's work in progress. I cut the trunk open to showcase all that great detail and I left the engine out of the car on the stand. At least for now. I weathered it also just in case I ever got the urge to put it in the car. Had a fun time with it.

Thank you very much! It's not the way I'd have originally gone with the color but I do like how it turned out.
