Long story, short: In 1986, the IRIAF, running low on AIM-54 Phoenix missiles, launched Project "Sky Hawk"!
They took a MIM-23B "Improved Hawk" (yes, that's the known SAM!!) and armed an F-14A with it.
Project failed, but it's an awesome modelling idea.
Spending half my Army Service in a HAWK battery, and after fishing up the awesome attached Resin/PE/Decal set, I thought I would give it a go.

Vorya hidaryanOk about 10 or more tomcat still can carry hawak. in the project use 3 or 4 tomcat and name of project is (sejil) and the tomcat have kill(su-25 & scud) whit this missile is 3-6060

Dimitris P.K.Vorya, in the Windwalk decal sheet, there are 3 options: 6073, 863 & 6024.
Those 3, have different fonts. Also the sheet gives you another 3 options on a 3-60xx format, again different fonts. Finally, gives generic number set in diffent fonts and colours (including arabic numbering.)
I will post later (when I get home) a pic of the sheet to show what I mean, and guide me to the correct font and colour 🙂

Vorya hidaryanthe book is very good but have little problem still ok.for painting for desert camo i use revell sand yellow(matt 16) mix with revell white(matt ?) and revell dark earth(matt 82) mix with white and few drop of sand yellow-for green:revell bronze green(matt 65).
under the plane mix white and light gray and give in integral model clear and some washe you see how beautiful is😉

As for the colours, I use Tamiya and Gunze, and I already found 3 different references about the camo scheme. I will research more before spraying anything.

Dimitris P.K.Yes Holger, looks nicely printed, but to be sure generaly with decals, you need to test them first and then apply 😛 (talking out of baaaad experience)

Dimitris P.K.Thanks alot Vorya. In the book I found many references on the -73, and while the sheet gives a ready number marking, I wll go for that.
Now I have to find some aftermarket that fits the Academy model, while there are no accessories (weird) for my kit.
Hope to start next week 🙂

Dimitris P.K.Holly, the only thing thats for sure, are the Alpha and AOA probes by master (F-14 Alfa probe & Angle Of A..obe (Master AM-72-007, 1:72))
After that, I was thinking of some cockpit/canopy PEs. Nothing more.
