NA-73X (Mustang Prototype)

Conversion to the Mustang prototype as initially completed, before the accident and rebuild. So the plane will be overall NMF with no anti-glare panel or rudder stripes. Only reg numbers and stencils.

MAIN DIFFERENCES
Shorter carburetor air scoop
Radiator air scoop boxier, adjustable, and different from the Mk.I or A model - scratchbuild
Exhaust stacks - early type (Ultracast)
Nose gun fairings? (theory: they only appeared on the engineless airframe)
Fill gun openings - prototype only had painted circles
Use T-6 wheels and brakes
Antenna mast modified
Unique blown windscreen (use Falcon vac-form set)
Curtis Electric 10' 6" propeller (Ultracast)
Add cowling vent near windscreen on starboard side
Reg numbers custom stencil (tail number appears stenciled; wings look hand-painted in photos)
Remove wing pylons entirely
Add pitot tube under starboard wing

QUESTIONS
What color were the wheel wells painted? Chromate yellow? In the wreck pictures they look lighter.

What color was the interior? Natural metal? Whatever primer they used? Zinc chromate? Darker interior green seen on the AirCorps restorations? Pictures appear very dark.
